They chopped it down Then thought it was over The tree is gone No place to call a home Take the wood into the fire Let it burn to ashes We will never hear of it again In this I wept Who will save the soul The soul left to rot on the wood The chopped wood In a trance, Like a flash I saw the curtain tear in half A mighty wind was here But how will everything become one piece? Suddenly, From the ashes, The roots stretched From the earth, it rose The great tree of steel never to die anymore 3 days was all it took They never expected this Once a rejected wood now the choicest furniture My Jesus hung on the tree Has risen to set me free Freeborn, new born. Happy April and Happy Easter to the World. Although it's the 4th of April, but I couldn't say a happy new month without a little piece of poetry for you to chew on. Here it goes, Enjoy. I heard you talking about the rust Yes the rust on the cross Sounds cliché right? It’s been more than 2 centuries already Yet you still dwell on that clause? What a shame Or where is the gain? Yes I question you? It’s getting too old to be active Are you contemplating that? Hmmmm... Look at you Looking down on the sacrifice which made you whole The hurt that saved your soul? This power never lied It’s efficacy never died He was dead yet alive Now no longer to die For this our eternity is sure A love undiluted and pure For a man with no odds Took our odds and died for all This power never died He lives forever.
