Jazzmine was born in the middle of a whirl wind in the farthest north of the deserts plains, lost in a sand storm, she stumbled upon a book and biro... Blah blah blah, just kidding.
So, all you need to know is simple, Jazzmine is your writer girl. Most of the poems and stories are purely fiction, however some may be based on true life events which may be stated or otherwise not.

She was out later than usual. She just had a lot of work to cover so she could earn more and rest too. She never stayed out this late. THE WAR

            THE WAR ...And that was how the war started. Gun shots everywhere, commotion, fire, people screaming. I woke up in shock wondering if it was a dream. My mum was heavy with my brother. Dad was trying soo hard to get the family together.    Mother snatched me from the bed, strapped me on her back. Dad held her hand and we made for the exit.    Mum was very heavy, fat, swollen and big bellied. I fear for how she will make it.   Admist screams and panic, my dad ran with mum and I into the wild for safety.   At that point, I recalled my favourite song and started singing.
